Our research program in chemical glycobiology is broadly interested in gaining an understanding of how glycans encode and transmit biological information at the boundary between cells and their environment. To achieve this objective, we develop chemical and materials-based strategies to intercept, analyze and, ultimately, rewrite this information. Our ultimate goal is to explore new avenues for targeting glycans to advance biomedical research and human health.
The Godula lab is looking for a talented post-doctoral scholar with expertise in materials chemistry and glyco-mimetic polymers. If interested, please email Prof. Godula your cv along with a description of your research interests.
Phoebe, a former research assistant in the lab, has joined us as an organic chemistry PhD student starting in fall 2024.
Shubham joined the lab as a Post-doctoral scholar in December 2023.
